Job Description & Requirements Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department. The position requires the ability to manage a diverse caseload, work nights, and collaborate effectively with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 3 days per week, rotating every other weekend, no on-call required. Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); at least 2-3 years of emergency room experience as an RN. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Additional Information: The unit is a fully equipped emergency department with x-ray, laboratory (nurse-driven), and CT scanner services. It hosts 12 beds with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4 or 1:5. The team comprises 14 staff members working across day, mid, and night shifts.
