Winston Caf is seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Restaurant Servers to join our team. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience through attentive service, strong communication, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Server provides tableside service to guests while supporting the Restaurant Manager and collaborating closely with kitchen staff. This position helps maintain a positive, efficient work environment while ensuring high-quality service standards.

This role requires early morning availability, including preparing the restaurant for opening at 6:00 AM, working 5 shifts per week, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and attentive customer service to all guests
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Maintain flexibility and adapt to changing needs throughout shifts
• Support and uphold company policies, procedures, and mission

Service & Operations

• Accurately take orders and process payments using the POS system
• Handle cash and payments in accordance with company procedures
• Understand menu items, preparation methods, and plate presentations
• Prepare backup products using appropriate equipment
• Operate all equipment according to manufacturer guidelines

Food Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company and local health and safety regulations
• Practice proper handwashing and glove usage
• Maintain proper food temperatures and storage standards
• Label and date all prepared and opened food items
• Monitor product quality and discard outdated items
• Record food temperatures at least once per shift and take corrective action when needed

Daily & Closing Duties

• Ensure all activities conform to company policies and procedures
• Accurately complete all POS transactions and timekeeping requirements
• Finalize shift paperwork and complete food adjustments
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Attend store meetings as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Physical Requirements

• Requires prolonged periods of physical activity, including walking and carrying plates and trays
• Ability to manually move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Occasional stooping, bending, reaching, and use of step stools
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Occasional travel may be required
