Join Our Team as a Speech Therapist!

We are excited to invite you to become a part of our dynamic team as a Speech Therapist in a PRN capacity! This role requires experience working with pediatric clients.

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $45.90 to $51.20 , depending on your level of experience.

This is a PRN position, which involves traveling to clients' homes as needed.

• Deliver ongoing therapy to clients in accordance with physician directives.
• Communicate client progress within the organization.
• Evaluate and treat clients, while collaborating with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or equivalent experience of at least one year working with adults and children with neurological disorders.
• Must possess a valid Speech Pathology license in the applicable state or be actively working towards the required supervisory experience for licensure.
• Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration is preferred.
• Membership in the Speech-Language-Hearing Association is recommended.
• Ability to synthesize and integrate large amounts of information effectively.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to read, write, and interpret professional evaluation materials to stay updated in the field.
• Proficient in problem-solving and reasoning independently.
• Ability to manage stress from challenging caseloads.
• Strong organizational skills to follow complex directions and manage schedules.
• Basic math skills are necessary.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation is a plus.
• Familiarity with operating personal computers, Servox devices, and augmentative communication tools.

• Assess and create tailored treatment plans to enhance communication efficiency for clients.
• Conduct evaluations and develop effective treatment plans based on physician requests, securing necessary approvals.
• Initiate prescribed treatments and keep physicians informed about client progress.
• Document evaluations, weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required information in compliance with agency policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records as per state, federal, and third-party payer guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members regarding client progress and care plans.
• Engage in regular rehabilitation conferences and client care planning meetings.
• Provide education to clients, families, and staff as needed.
• Participate in in-service training programs for agency staff as requested.
• Adhere to the Speech-Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
• Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

At least one year of experience working with adults and children with neurological disorders, including challenges in language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.

A master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required.

A valid Speech Therapist license is required.
