This full-time position offers a remote work setting, allowing therapists to provide care to clients through virtual sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

  • Establish a positive, trusting rapport with patients, creating a safe and welcoming space for therapy.

  • Diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • \n
  • Lead regular therapy sessions with individuals and couples, utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to address their concerns.

  • Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions as appropriate and encourage peer support among clients.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer clients to specialists when additional support or services are required.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in compliance with confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be supporting a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and co-occurring disorders. A specific emphasis will be placed on those requiring substance abuse counseling, where your expertise will significantly impact their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) recognized by the state of New Jersey.

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
  • \n
  • Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices, particularly regarding substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

  • Strong interpersonal and therapeutic skills, with a proven ability to motivate clients toward positive behavioral changes.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

While a valid LMFT license is essential, candidates with specialized training or professional experience in addiction counseling will be highly regarded. Prior experience working in outpatient settings or utilization of teletherapy platforms is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
