Administrative Assistant - Part Time

Location Address:606b Walters Street, Reidsville, North Carolina 27320Work Shift:8hr-1st Shift 8a-4p Reidsville (United States of America)The administrative assistant will assist with administrative tasks such as assist in functions related to customer service, maintenance, and safety.Essential Job Functions and QualificationsEnsure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.Perform functions related to customer service and/or maintenance support, and plant safety administrationUpdate multiple accounting and financial functions from and well as data entry into JD Edwards and other company software systems.Maintain plant level accounting functions to include raw material and finished goods inventory management.Perform multiple accounting and financial functions from an administrative.Prepare, compile, and distribute daily production reports, including key production metrics and operational data.Maintain contractor insurance certificates and related compliance documentation, ensuring records remain current and meet company requirements.Coordinate contractor insurance renewals and maintain organized records for audits and compliance reviews.Schedule and coordinate annual plant safety training programs for employees. Maintain accurate employee training records, certifications, attendance logs, and other safety compliance documentation.Track required safety training and communicate upcoming training needs to supervisors and employees.Assist in updating, maintaining, and distributing safety-related policies, procedures, and documents.Be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative in completing assigned tasks.Take the initiative to learn as much as you can from the people you work with and ask for more work if you think you can handle it.Thrive in a multi-tasking environment where you work independently with little supervision or direction.Tackle new tasks every day that may or may not be within the typical scope of an Administrative Assistant and use your determined personality to accomplish the tasks with excellence.Believe in, uphold, and follow the company's core values of \"Integrity First\", \"Excellence in All We Do\", and \"Treat People with Dignity and Respect\" every day.Allow for lines of communication to always be open, whether it is between you and the Senior Leadership Team, or peers, subordinates, and other office members.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Required:At least 2 years previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.Literacy in English as well as strong editing abilities.Ability to follow through with documentation.Accounting experience desired.Fantastic interpersonal skills! Communication is KEY to success in this job!
