A leading law firm is seeking a

Litigation Associate

to join its Miami, FL office. This position is ideal for an attorney with

1-5 years of litigation experience

who is interested in handling a variety of complex matters and working with both domestic and international clients. Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred

for this position. Position Responsibilities

Assist with the management of commercial and complex litigation matters from initial case development through resolution. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents. Assist with all phases of discovery, including document review, written discovery, and preparation for depositions. Participate in case strategy, preparation, and development under the direction of senior attorneys. Communicate and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, local counsel, and other professionals involved in litigation matters. Assist with deposition and trial preparation and participate in hearings, depositions, and court proceedings as appropriate. Review and analyze legal documents, evidence, and case-related materials. Manage assigned projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. For attorneys with greater experience, take increasing responsibility for managing individual matters and working directly with clients. Perform additional duties related to litigation matters as assigned. Qualifications

1-5 years of litigation experience

at a law firm, government agency, judicial clerkship, or comparable legal setting. Active admission to the

Florida Bar

. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Spanish fluency strongly preferred. Courtroom, hearing, deposition, or trial experience is a plus.
