About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year recent experience required in behavioral health/psychiatry License: Active state license required Must-Have: Experience with restraints Description: Nights shift from 10 PM to 6 AM, with weekends and holidays as assigned. Beautiful brand new facility focused on psychiatric care. Candidates must have experience with restraints. This is an acute inpatient hospital setting. Ages treated include adults, geriatrics, and adolescents. Disorders treated encompass mental health and behavioral disorders, including substance abuse and addictions. Staffing ratios are approximately 1:20, depending on patient acuity. Documentation is conducted through a mix of electronic and paper charting. The medication system utilized is an automated system with an onsite pharmacy available 24/7. De-escalation training is offered during orientation at no charge. Facility is located in a vibrant area, near recreational activities.
