About the Role:

Mechanical & Industrial Solutions is looking for skilled Pipe Fitters, Pipe Welders, and Helpers to join our growing team in Lincolnton, NC! If you take pride in precision craftsmanship and want to be part of a team that tackles challenging industrial projects, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping schematics
• Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems for industrial and mechanical applications
• Perform pipe welding using TIG, and/or stick welding processes
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required specifications
• Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks and pressure compliance
• Assist journeyman fitters and welders with layout, setup, and material handling (Helpers)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site in accordance with OSHA standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience in pipe fitting, pipe welding, or a related industrial trade (Helpers welcome to apply)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, or GMAW preferred
• Knowledge of pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and PVC
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions including confined spaces and at heights
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented attitude
