Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a committed and experienced HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position where the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers and boilers, and the ability to troubleshoot various issues. The role requires a deep understanding of preventive maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and air conditioning systems. Knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and equipment installation is crucial. The candidate must possess excellent diagnostic skills and a strong technical understanding of HVAC systems. Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Troubleshooting and resolving HVAC malfunctions in a timely and professional manner. Conducting regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, including boilers, gas and electrically operated air conditioning equipment, and making necessary adjustments or repairs. Performing mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming. Keeping record of all work and reporting completed services to management. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. Assisting with customers' queries, explaining costs and providing advice on maintenance and repair. Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer’s location. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC systems, including experience with chillers and boilers. Proven experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of air conditioning systems. Familiarity with building codes and safety protocols in the construction industry. Experience with equipment installation and a strong ability to diagnose issues with HVAC systems. Excellent technical understanding of HVAC systems. Valid driver's license. Must be able to work in a physical capacity, including lifting heavy items and working in varying temperatures. HVAC certification or equivalent is required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently and in team settings.
