Blade Grinder / Grinder Helper – Day Shift

Location: Mentor
Shift: Day Shift
Pay: $16.75
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Blade Grinder Helper to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is willing to learn.

The Blade Grinder Helper will assist with grinding and finishing metal blades, removing rough edges, and preparing completed parts for inspection.

Responsibilities

Grind and smooth metal blades using designated equipment
Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections
Visually inspect blades for quality and consistency
Handle and move materials safely
Follow work instructions and production requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Wear required personal protective equipment
Follow all company safety procedures
Assist other production team members as needed

Qualifications

Previous grinding or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
Willingness to learn and receive hands-on training
Comfortable working with machinery and metal components
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand throughout the shift and perform repetitive tasks
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Ability to complete required pre-employment screening
