Cancer Care Clinic - Clinical Nurse

Job Summary 12‑hour shifts in an Outpatient 24/7 Cancer Care Clinic. Rotating shifts starting 7:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 7:00 pm; approximately every sixth weekend. Oncology or Critical Care experience preferred. Sign‑On Bonus eligible. Located at Center for Advanced Medicine on BJH North Campus. Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing care standards. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post‑treatment home care needs and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance and professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care; assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care. Maintains constant state of alertness and works in a safe manner (safety‑sensitive position). Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: RN. Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
