As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll contribute to Elara Caring's mission by delivering high-quality care to patients in their homes. Responsibilities include promoting the organization's philosophy, performing direct physical therapy services according to the patient's plan of care, and following state practice guidelines. You will collaborate under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and ensure patient safety and progress by adhering to care plans and reporting changes in status. Additional duties involve instructing patients and caregivers in the correct use of assistive devices, maintaining therapy documentation, and supporting overall patient goals.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area (up to 50%).
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
