Complete monthly online training to advance knowledge of equipment and safety. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Clean, service, and check fluid levels and perform minor repairs on equipment. Demonstrate, load and unload equipment Greet customers promptly as they arrive at the store, resolve customer problems, fill propane tanks. Communicate efficiently about equipment to counter staff and mechanics. Keep lot organized and display equipment for professional appearance. Perform other duties as requested Requirements Qualifications Education, Skills & Requirements Must possess excellent customer service skills Requires the ability to stand and move for extended periods throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to understand, follow, and complete written and verbal instructions. Maintain a cooperative relationship with co-workers Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience Must maintain a professional appearance Must be able to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions. Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) to safely perform job duties and assist customers. Bilingual ability is a plus. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law. Must have a valid driver’s license (21 years of age or over for driving positions) A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required Working conditions The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside. The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level. The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
