Role Overview
The Technical Program Manager II - Enterprise SDK Integration will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy for enterprise SDKs, APIs, developer tools, and integration capabilities that enable customers and partners to programmatically manage complex connectivity and enterprise activation workflows.
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, SDK architecture, API-first platform design, enterprise integration, customer activation, and cross-functional technical delivery. The TPM will define the developer experience strategy, prioritize the API surface area, partner closely with engineering and architecture teams, and drive alignment across product, engineering, commerce,
security, customer success, and executive stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has experience managing technical products in SDK, API, developer platform, networking, telecommunications, cloud, or enterprise SaaS environments, with strong ability to operate in ambiguity, influence distributed teams, and translate complex technical capabilities into scalable customer-facing solutions.


Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy, Vision, and Roadmap
• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for SDKs, APIs, developer tools, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Own the SDK product vision, roadmap, and API surface area definition, including decisions around which enterprise workflows should be exposed programmatically.
• Prioritize SDK and API capabilities based on customer pain points, business objectives, technical feasibility, customer feedback, market demand, and platform readiness.
• Define the developer experience strategy to improve customer self-service, reduce implementation friction, and accelerate enterprise activation.
• Develop success metrics and track product performance across adoption, activation, utilization, retention, onboarding success, and product usage growth.


SDK Development and Developer Experience
• Own the lifecycle of SDK products across multiple programming languages, platforms, enterprise personas, and deployment models.
• Partner with engineering teams to design SDK architecture, versioning strategies, release management processes, backward compatibility standards, and API-first product experiences.
• Improve developer productivity through tooling, documentation, sample applications, reference implementations, implementation guides, and technical playbooks.
• Drive API-first product design and advocate for best practices in developer experience, including clear documentation, predictable API behavior, scalable integration patterns, and enterprise-grade reliability.
• Define and deliver SDK capabilities that support programmatic network management, activation workflows, lifecycle management, and bulk operations for multi-region or multi-site enterprise deployments.


Enterprise Integration and Platform Enablement
• Define integration frameworks that support enterprise customers, partners, internal platform teams, and third-party connectivity models.
• Lead initiatives involving REST APIs, GraphQL services, event-driven architectures, authentication and identity management, cloud-native integrations, and third-party platform connectivity.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Architecture teams to create scalable, secure, enterprise-ready integration patterns.
• Drive delivery of API documentation, developer guides, infrastructure-as-code integration, and bulk API capabilities that allow enterprise network administrators to implement solutions across regions and environments.
• Partner with commerce, catalog, entitlement, and billing teams to ensure SDK and API capabilities accurately represent product offers, service contracts, purchase flows, fulfillment channels, and downstream billing or orchestration requirements.


Customer Activation and Adoption
• Develop activation strategies that accelerate customer time-to-value and reduce dependency on manual support intervention.
• Define onboarding journeys, implementation guides, technical playbooks, adoption frameworks, and customer enablement materials.
• Monitor activation metrics and identify friction points in customer implementation workflows.
• Work closely with Customer Success, Professional Services, Solutions Architecture, and Engineering teams to improve product adoption, implementation quality, and customer outcomes.
• Use customer and partner feedback to improve SDK usability, documentation clarity, integration reliability, and enterprise deployment success.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Dependency Management
• Serve as the primary liaison across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Security, Compliance, Commerce, and Operations teams.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders, communicate product priorities, and provide clear roadmap progress updates.
• Lead technical requirement gathering, feature prioritization, user story creation, release planning, and executive-level reporting.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple engineering and platform teams, track delivery milestones against launch timelines, identify risks, escalate blockers, and drive resolution.
• Own the narrative for SDK readiness in business reviews, leadership updates, roadmap reviews, and launch readiness discussions.
• Create written artifacts such as 6-page narratives, business cases, product requirements, technical design summaries, release plans, and executive status updates.


Product Analytics and Continuous Improvement
• Establish KPIs for SDK adoption, API utilization, customer activation rates, enterprise onboarding success, integration completion times, and product usage growth.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize product adoption, developer experience, customer activation, and enterprise implementation outcomes.
• Track product performance across reliability, usability, self-service completion,
implementation success, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Identify patterns in customer usage, failed activations, integration delays, support escalations, and documentation gaps to inform roadmap prioritization.
Security, Compliance, and Enterprise Readiness
• Partner with Security, Compliance, Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure SDK and API capabilities meet enterprise readiness requirements.
• Ensure SDK and API solutions support secure authentication, authorization, identity management, role-based access, auditability, and account-level isolation.
• Support compliance objectives for enterprise-grade customers, including traceability, operational controls, and secure integration practices.
• Ensure platform decisions account for enterprise risk, scalability, availability, access control, and customer data protection expectations.


Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of Product Management experience in a technical environment.
• Experience managing SDK products, APIs, integration platforms, developer tools, or enterprise software products.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, cloud technologies, API design, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience working with engineering teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience driving roadmap alignment, technical requirements, release planning, and cross-functional execution across distributed teams.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to create product narratives,
requirements documents, technical summaries, and executive-ready updates.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Manager, or hybrid
Product/Delivery leader responsible for both strategy and execution.
• Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, API ecosystems, or marketplace ecosystems.
• Knowledge of API gateway technologies.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS products and products serving enterprise customers at scale.
• Familiarity with partner enablement and platform growth strategies.
• Experience delivering developer tools in networking, telecommunications, connectivity, cloud
infrastructure, or enterprise integration environments.
• Experience with B2B software integration patterns, including bulk operations, batch processing, multi-region deployments, and multi-site enterprise implementation models.
• Experience working with commerce, billing, catalog, entitlement, service contract, or multi-party business models requiring cross-service coordination.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, making product trade-off decisions with incomplete information, and influencing teams without direct authority.
• MBA or equivalent graduate degree is a plus.
