In addition, this individual will document repairs, and perform safety checks and preventive measures. This position will be eligible for the on-call rotation after six months of employment.Education: Required: Associate’s Degree in a related field OR completion of Military Biomedical training program OR 1 years Biomedical equipment maintenance experience with a minimum of two manufacturer-level service seminars completed. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Technology or Biomedical Technology Experience: Preferred: Experience in a clinical or technical field Preferred: Experience working with clinical equipment Skills: • Use of common hand tools. • Use of PC and basic data entry skills. • Ability to utilize manufacturer’s service and operators manuals and other documentation • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair basic electronic and electromechanical equipment. • Self-directed, strong attention to detail. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Strong ability to reason logically and critically. • Ability to maintain confidentiality with the highest degree of integrity and discretion. • Strong organizational skills including effective time management and ability to set/reset priorities accordingly and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. • Demonstrate the ability to communicate ideas clearly both orally and in writing to hospital staff, vendors, patients and patient’s families. • Exceptional customer relation skills.
