Data Operations Lead / Campaign

Overview A growing organization based in the Chicago area is hiring a full-time Operations Data Specialist to support large-scale marketing and production workflows. This role sits at the intersection of data operations and automation, working with tools such as Excel, Python, and SQL to ensure campaign accuracy and execution readiness. The position is full-time and offers the opportunity to directly impact how national campaigns are delivered. The most exciting part of this opportunity is the ownership—it’s not just reporting or analysis. This person will play a critical role in ensuring that complex datasets are transformed into clean, production-ready outputs that drive real-world execution. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving operational puzzles, improving workflows, and building automation that eliminates repetitive tasks. Responsibilities 70% Hands-On Data & Workflow Execution 10% Process Improvement & Documentation 20% Cross-Functional Collaboration Required Skills & Experience Advanced Excel skills (large datasets, formulas, validation techniques) Professional experience using Python for data transformation or process automation Background in operations-heavy environments (campaign ops, logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing, or similar) Strong attention to detail with a proactive communication style Desired Skills & Experience SQL or database querying experience Exposure to high-volume or multi-location operational workflows Experience with print, fulfillment, or campaign execution environments Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions or automation What You Will Be Doing 40% Excel / Data Processing 30% Python Scripting and Automation 20% SQL / Data Querying 10% Internal Tools / AI Tools Compensation & Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Vacation Time Stock Options Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
