Project Manager Energy Strategy & Development Overview We are seeking a Project Manager to support initiatives within the energy strategy space. This role is focused on managing and executing critical projects while developing and maintaining strong relationships with energy partners, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Support the management of utility contracts (e.g., electric service agreements, interconnection agreements), ensuring key terms and obligations are understood and tracked Monitor critical milestones, including submissions, approvals, and payment triggers tied to utility agreements Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely completion of contract-driven deliverables Act as a central point of contact to help align stakeholders and maintain progress against utility‑related requirements Track financial obligations such as deposits, capital contributions, and other contract‑linked costs Help identify risks to timelines or contract compliance and elevate as needed Assist in organizing and maintaining contract documentation, trackers, and reporting tools Required Qualifications Minimum 5 6 years of project management experience within the energy, fuel, or utilities industry Bachelor's degree in a technical field or project management‑related discipline is required Proven experience in project management, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or a related field Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders (internal teams and external consultants) Experience managing complex timelines with milestone‑based deliverables Demonstrated ability to bring structure and organization to dynamic environments Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with establishing or leading project management frameworks (e.g., Agile or similar methodologies) Familiarity with energy sector projects or infrastructure development Knowledge of regulatory environments across major energy markets (e.g., permitting, compliance frameworks such as FERC) Experience managing contract‑based project execution rather than purely strategic roles Additional Details Focus: Execution and delivery (not strategy ownership) Travel: Minimal; occasional travel may be required but not expected to be frequent Work Environment: Cross‑functional and consultant‑heavy, requiring strong coordination skills #J-18808-Ljbffr STM Consulting, Inc.
