Production Supervisor

B Shift Plant ManagerOverseeing the daily operations of the plant, including planning, organizing, staffing and regulating the production operations of the plant and assisting the Shift manager and other department managers and supervisors.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and implement that all employees are working within our safety guidelines for all employees inside our facilityOversee the hiring and training food production personnelEnsure manufacturing and processing staff wear appropriate sanitary and protective gear to ensure health and safetyCompletes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedulesMonitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standardsScheduling of personnel for optimal efficiency/ Scheduling within the allocated amount of personnel for each PC runningAssist with development of new food products to boost sales and increase generated returnsAllot work tasks to every lead on all linesSet production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targetsPrepare periodic reports to update upper management on food production activitiesCreate work shifts to ensure round-the-clock food production operationsIdentify customer requirements and adjust to meet such needsUndertake continuous training and development of employeesPerform root cause analysis and resolve problemsRecruit new operators and leads for linesReporting any issues to shift manager that will keep us from achieving daily planned poundsWorking with scheduling to ensure production is running as scheduled, come up with solutions when production is falling behind schedulePeople Management:Set department objectives/KPI's and review/asses ongoing performance of direct reportsDaily production meetings with leadsReport on achievement of targets and identify any actions requiredConsistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of themSupervise and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels and accountabilityMotivate and coach the team to operational successMonitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performanceReview, implement and update company records e.g. training metrics, performance reviews, risk assessmentsCommunicate KPIs and annual plan so each employee is awareManagement Relationship:Work with the management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality in line with quality standards and customer requirements.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performanceCalbee North America is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to a policy of non-discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, age, sex, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, citizenship, ancestry, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or familial status or any other legally protected status.
