Intellectual Property Specialist

Responsibilities The Intellectual Property (IP) Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of the IP team, providing daily administrative and paralegal support for the company’s global patent, trademark, trade‑secret, and copyright portfolios. The role includes accurate docketing, deadline management, filings and recordals, invoice and vendor coordination, reporting, and enabling IP staff to focus on substantive legal work. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an IP paralegal, IP operations, or legal operations role, preferably in‑house or IP‑focused firm. Hands‑on experience with global patent and trademark docketing, prosecution workflows, renewals, annuities, recordals, chain of title, and outside‑counsel coordination. Proficiency as a power user of an IP portfolio management platform (e.g., FoundationIP, Anaqua, CPA Global/Clarivate IPMS, PatSnap or similar), with ability to administer, report on, and improve the platform. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required. Preferred: Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA APC‑IP) or equivalent professional credential. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment‑based visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
