This role focuses on delivering comprehensive OT services across multiple educational settings in the Lancaster area, providing vital support to students, teachers, and support staff for the second semester. With a full-time, 40-hour week, you’ll have the chance to positively impact up to ten schools while also mentoring and supervising a COTA to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for California
• Experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
• Proven ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites
• Skilled in collaborating with educational teams and families
• Previous supervision or mentorship of COTAs is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs
• Conduct assessments and evaluations at multiple school sites
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with district guidelines
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student achievement
• Provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and support to a COTA
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the educational team
