• Department: Physical Therapy Outpatient
• Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday
• Facility: Orthopedic Center
• Location: Auburn, ME 04210

• Outpatient setting within a hospital environment.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region.
• Practice hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Focus on individualized patient care.
• One-on-one therapy sessions.
• No double bookings or overlapping appointments.
• Schedule driven by therapists.

The role involves providing medically prescribed physical therapy services aimed at evaluating, treating, and restoring function, while enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. Patient-centered care is delivered in line with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.

• Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
• Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery objectives.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.

• Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate).
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain it thereafter.
