Position Overview Amity to Life Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote capacity. This Telehealth position allows you to provide high-quality mental health counseling to clients across Corpus Christi, Texas, and beyond. Work Environment This remote position allows for flexibility and the comfort of working from home, utilizing Telehealth technology to connect with clients through secure video conferencing platforms. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and psychological needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment. Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific client goals and objectives, adapting interventions as needed based on progress and feedback. Facilitate engaging counseling sessions—whether individual, couple, or group—using therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client. Guide clients in learning effective coping strategies and self-care techniques that empower them to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and various behavioral issues. Continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting treatment approaches to support their journey. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure clients receive holistic care and comprehensive support. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client records, treatment plans, and progress assessments following HIPAA regulations and organizational standards. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily involves working with adults who may be experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. Strong verbal and written communication skills paired with exceptional interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike. An empathetic, non-judgmental approach to counseling, fostering a safe space for clients to express their feelings. Proficiency with technology and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote counseling sessions effectively. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience providing individual, couple, and group counseling in a clinical or community setting. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the clients. Experience in telehealth counseling and knowledge of digital documentation processes. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
