Salem Residential Care is looking to add a few L1MA's. Willing to train if not already certified. Shifts are 8 hours with rotating weekends and some holidays are required.
Requirements: Active Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA) certification in Missouri from the Department of Health and Human Service.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Administer oral, topical, and eye/ear drop medications following the "five rights" (patient, medication, route, time, dose).
- Accurately record medication administration, refusals, and observations in the Medication Administration Record (MAR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report any changes in condition immediately to a licensed nurse.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and bathing, as well as providing mobility support.
- Follow all infection control protocols and maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars as assigned.
- Other duties as needed.

- Ability to work under the supervision of a nurse.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Good hygiene and grooming standards.
