Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, FP&A owns financial and private equity lender/sponsor compliance reporting, review, and analysis at the corporate and consolidated level.

This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and Senior Leadership to assess and drive Our Client's strategy and performance, with primary ownership of consolidated-level analysis, monthly management and sponsor/lender reporting, and the annual budgeting process.

The position also oversees financial modeling for capital projects and executive-level presentation development. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a deep, hands-on understanding of business drivers across Our Client's operating footprint.

Important: This position reports to Our Client's corporate headquarters and is an on-site role . Remote work and relocation assistance are not offered.

Growth Opportunity

This position is currently an individual-contributor role with no direct reports. As Our Client continues to execute its growth strategy, both organically and through acquisitions, there is significant potential for the scope of this position to expand , including future opportunities to build and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, report, and present weekly and monthly business KPIs for senior management, private equity sponsors, and lender presentations and meetings.
• Own and continuously improve a dynamic, cohesive, and integrated three-statement financial planning and analysis model, incorporating liquidity, EBITDA, net debt, and debt covenant calculations.
• Prepare monthly financial analysis and commentary on key results, trends, and variances against budgets and forecasts at the consolidated level.
• Lead the annual consolidated corporate budgeting process by consolidating branch budgets, validating underlying assumptions, and preparing summary analyses and executive presentation materials.
• Own debt covenant compliance reporting and related analytical support, including back-casted and pro forma adjusted EBITDA calculations.
• Partner with senior leadership to support medium- and long-term financial and strategic planning through data-driven analysis, scenario planning, and financial modeling.
• Identify and quantify financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to improve overall business performance.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Our Client's ERP, data, and business intelligence systems to deliver meaningful insights into financial performance and key business drivers.
• Maintain and enhance rolling 13-week and monthly cash flow forecasts, including working capital analysis and identification of opportunities to improve liquidity.
• Prepare monthly borrowing base files and liquidity statements in accordance with asset-based lending agreements.
• Support special projects and ad hoc consolidated financial analysis to assist leadership in evaluating new initiatives and strategic business decisions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a closely related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including familiarity with consolidated financial statements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including three-statement models, debt schedules, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new financial frameworks and take ownership of complex, ambiguous, and high-stakes financial challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership, private equity sponsors, and lenders.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet critical reporting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or professional certification, such as CPA or CFA.
• Previous experience in a private equity-backed or highly leveraged business environment.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and/or Tableau.
• Exposure to debt covenant reporting, lender compliance, and liquidity management.
