Resident Assistant - Full Time Evenings - The Rushseba

Schedule: Full Time | 64 or 72 hours/pay period | 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. | Includes every other weekend and holiday Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location. This position also includes a $500 sign-on bonus. Whether assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, or simply being a friendly face, you'll play a key role in helping residents live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship. As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will: * Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility. * Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences. * Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life. * Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces. * Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience. * Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff. * Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home. * Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care. This job also requires: * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. * Clear and compassionate communication abilities. * A commitment to serving with excellence and integrity. * Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required. * Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness. * Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living). * Ability to pass a state-required background study. * Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position. * Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
