Acute Physical Therapist - Home Care

MLR is seeking a motivated and compassionate Home Care Physical Therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals.

Responsibilities for a Home Care Physical Therapist:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide hands-on therapy and exercise programs to improve clients' mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Educate clients and their families on techniques to manage and prevent physical limitations.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications for a Home Care Physical Therapist:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.
• Previous experience in home care or a similar setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
