Part Time - Variable shifts during normal business hours, including some weekends Job Description SeaBear Company is hiring motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our Seasonal Call Center Team. We are looking for dependable, hardworking team members who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating positive customer experiences. Based in Anacortes, Washington, this hybrid position offers a combination of in-office and work-from-home opportunities. Employees must be willing and able to work onsite as business needs require. Open availability is a must November – December to accommodate our season! Scheduling is variable during normal business hours, and availability to work some weekends is required. The position reports to the Call Center Supervisor. Primary Responsibilities Answer inbound customer calls and assist customers with product selection and purchases. Provide accurate product information and support customers throughout the ordering process. Enter customer orders received by phone, mail, and fax with accuracy and attention to detail. Respond to customer questions, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate and complete customer records and document interactions in the appropriate online systems. Resolve customer complaints using sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. De-escalate challenging customer interactions while maintaining a courteous and customer-focused approach. Adapt to changing business needs, seasonal workloads, and scheduling requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong customer service, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt communication style and remain professional in a variety of customer situations. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic computer proficiency, including typing, internet navigation, and online data entry. Ability to think clearly, communicate effectively, and follow established procedures. Ability to manage stress and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment and Requirements Training will be done at the Anacortes Facility. Hybrid work arrangement with both onsite and remote responsibilities once training is complete. Must be able to maintain accuracy, professionalism, and productivity during periods of increased seasonal demand. Compensation The starting wage for this seasonal position is
