Job Description
Metro Dance Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic Summer Dance Camp Assistant to help create a fun, safe, and engaging experience for our young dancers attending camp.
As a Summer Dance Camp Assistant, you’ll be the heart of the camp experience: leading activities, teaching foundational dance skills, and creating unforgettable summer memories for kids of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting instructors during dance classes and camp activities
- Supervising campers during crafts, games, snack, and break times
- Help set up and clean up dance studios and craft supplies
- Encouraging and supporting campers while maintaining a positive environment
- Assisting with check-in, dismissal, and daily camp routines
Qualifications
What It Takes:
- A love for working with kids ages 6 -12 years old and bringing high energy every day
- Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Dance experience is preferred
