Industrial Sewer

We are partnered with a company that is currently looking for a Sewer/Upholsterer to join our team in the Panels plant on 1st shift. If you have experience with sewing or operating and industrial sewing machine, please apply directly. This is a direct hire position with full company benefits included. 

salary: $42,000 - $44,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

As a Sewer/Upholsterer , you will : 

• Perform complex set ups, operate and adjust various sewing machines. Practice machine preventive maintenance and perform general utility work to meet work schedule. Upholster seats, backs, arms, and outers for seating, ottomans and other cushioned products, utilizing Haworth and specially ordered customer fabric, leather, and vinyl. Manually position fabric to appropriate parts, form edges, and attach fabric with staples or glue gun as prescribed. Inspect fabric and parts per quality specifications. 

Required Qualifications 

• 

2 years manufacturing experience OR 1 year Haworth manufacturing experience 

6 months of sewing/upholstery experience 

Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (hilo) certification

Ability to lift/move products weighing up to 50 pounds 

• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
