Join our dynamic team in Sarasota, FL, as a CNC Fixed Headstock Lathe Operator! We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about precision machining and thrives in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC fixed headstock lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining operations.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC lathes to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience operating CNC fixed headstock lathes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a machining environment.
