Pediatric Neuropsychologist

Position Title Academic Pediatric (Medical) Neuropsychologist / Rank Dependent on Qualifications Division The Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine Job Description Full‑time Academic Pediatric (Medical) Neuropsychologist to join the faculty of clinician‑educators and researchers. Provide consultation, intakes, evaluations, assessment, and treatment through direct patient care to children referred to the University Developmental Assessment Clinics (UDAC), including the Child Development Clinic (CDP), Neonatal Follow‑up Program (NFP), and the Heart Center Neurodevelopmental Program (HCNP). Work closely with a multidisciplinary team—including developmental pediatricians, nurse practitioners, speech‑language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, registered nurses, and other psychologists—to provide assessments and diagnoses to children who have or are at high risk for developmental complications. Clinics are held in Salt Lake and Utah Counties. Responsibilities Conduct direct patient care assessments and treatment for children referred to UDAC. Provide consultation and intakes for developmental disability and concerns cases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to diagnose and manage developmental complications. Engage in academic work including teaching, research, administration, and advocacy. Participate in quality improvement projects. Qualifications Doctoral level degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology from an accredited program. Completed at least 1 year of post‑licensure experience. Eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Utah. Experience in teaching and quality improvement projects is preferred. Appointment and Compensation Faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at an academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
