Job Summary:
The Operating Room Surgical Technician position is based in a California outpatient surgical center located in Santa Monica. The role involves supporting a busy outpatient clinic and floating to the Main Operating Room as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position necessitates a minimum of five years of surgical technology experience, with proficiency in scrub procedures. The shift is scheduled for 12 hours daily, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California license must be in hand; ACLS and BLS certifications required; 5 years of surgical technologist experience; experience with Epic electronic medical record system; valid California license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotic surgery experience is highly preferred.
• Float: Float to Main Operating Room as needed.
• Additional Information: The role involves supporting a variety of complex surgical procedures including abdominal, gynecologic, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, urologic, and robotic surgeries. Candidates must be willing to work three of the five designated holidays. The applicant must have worked at a Providence facility previously or provide detailed references if applicable. The candidate must also have LA fire card within the last 30 days.
