Registered Nurse Cardiac Care

Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45 07:15

Contract Length: 13 26 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Minimum 2 years of high-acuity/ratio experience required Traveler experience acceptable (first-time travelers accepted) Licensure: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIH (NIHSS)

Provide high-quality patient care to adult cardiac and stroke patients Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias effectively Administer and manage cardiac drips as per unit policy Provide pre/post procedural care for cardiac interventions and pacemaker/ICD management Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Must pass EKG testing prior to start Pre-start modules: required; acute care modules ~ 810 hours (non-billable) RTO guidance: up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); no RTO during first week Must work 2 of 3 major holidays as per facility policy Scrubs: navy blue or white; Novant t-shirts allowed; jackets must match uniform material/color; no crocs with holes
