As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Topeka, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will drive patrol routes, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine checks, respond to situations, and provide helpful customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or store associates by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and security-related support during store opening, closing, and high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
