Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds : 30
• Type of equipment : Alaris pumps
• Documentation system: Epic
• Scheduling requirements: every other weekend
• Floating policy: float to Intermediate and Medsurg units
• Patient Experience requirements: use AIDET, complete hourly safety rounding, and bedside shift report

Hospital Specifics-

• Certifications: ACLS and BLS

Requested Skill Set: We take care of patients out of the ICUs, Cardiac drips, patients with tracheostomy/ High Flow/ Bipap, and Surgical patients requiring drain maintenance and wound care.

Must have : ACLS

Advanced skills needed: Intermediate care drips (Cardizem, heparin, aggrastat, etc.) 

Certifications Required: ACLS
