Sr. Software Engineer, Elixir

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for building resilient, scalable, cloud-based systems.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience
Proven expertise with Elixir and OTP principles
Proficiency using a variety of database technology, both relational and non-relational, particularly PostgreSQL (schemas, queries, performance tuning, JSONB, indexing strategies)
Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (EKS, S3, Aurora)
Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, testable code (TDD/BDD practices mandatory)
Experience working in Agile teams (code reviews, refinement, demos, CI/CD practices)
Good understanding of version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)

Requirements

Experience with Phoenix framework (nice to have)
Knowledge of observability tools (AppSignal, Datadog, etc.) (nice to have)
Experience with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL and other technologies that we use to link to other parts of our systems (nice to have)
