Transportation Driver

Part-Time Route Driver – Evening Hours (9:30 PM–12:15 AM)

Location: Based in Watertown, WI (Route to Fort Atkinson) Schedule: Monday–Friday

Looking for steady supplemental income with a short, consistent route? DPS is hiring a dependable part-time driver to operate a scheduled evening transportation route serving the Fort Atkinson area.

This role provides safe transportation for employees commuting to and from our client's Fort Atkinson plant. The driver will operate a company-provided Ford Transit Van, picking up 2nd shift riders and dropping off 3rd shift riders across Watertown, Johnson Creek, Jefferson, and Fort Atkinson.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Ford Transit passenger van
• Follow an assigned, structured nightly route
• Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs
• Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maintain professional communication with riders and DPS leadership
• Report any vehicle or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications:

• Clean or acceptable driving record required
• Prior professional driving experience preferred
• Comfortable driving at night
• Strong knowledge of local roadways (Watertown, Johnson Creek, Jefferson, Fort Atkinson)
• Reliable with excellent attendance
• Basic understanding of vehicle safety and maintenance
