Schedule: Call coverage approximately one weekend every five weeks. Weekend responsibilities include rounding on the GI service and handling calls from patients, emergency department, and hospitalist team.
Highlights:
- Hospital-based call coverage with weekend rounding responsibilities
- Standard bread and butter GI procedures including upper and lower endoscopies and colonoscopies
- Advanced skills in EUS and ERCP preferred
- Epic EMR system in use
- Adult patient population with hospitalist taking first call
- Solo practice structure with no APP support
- 90-day credentialing timeline
- Travel accommodations provided including hotel and rental car or mileage reimbursement
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology required
- Active Massachusetts state medical license required
- Current BLS certification
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum of one year of experience
- Epic charting system experience required
- Current NPI number
