RN - Preop and Phase II PACU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 15:30).

We are seeking a highly skilled RN with experience in Preoperative and Phase II Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering conscious sedation, managing airway management, and performing endoscopic procedures within the critical care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
• Manage airway and support respiratory functions as needed.
• Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, EGD, and ERCP.
• Recover patients post-anesthesia and ensure proper monitoring.
• Utilize Epic charting system for accurate patient documentation.
• Float to sister facilities as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in critical care or PACU.
• Valid RN license (Compact license required).
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CGRN preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.
