Progressive Cardiac Care unit with 28 beds. Patient population includes Medical, Cardiac, Pre/Post Cardiovascular Surgery, Arrhythmia, Heart Failure, and stroke overflow. Patient ratio is 1:4-5. Job Requirements

Must have current nursing license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start. Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required prior to start and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% score. Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required prior to start and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% score. Ascension Color Vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years. Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% score. Ascension EKG Exam required prior to start and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% score. Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation required prior to start. Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding required prior to start. Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Positive PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Health Statement, and 2 Step PPD or IGRA. Criminal background checks, employment verifications, and professional references required prior to start.
