Gatehouse Attendant Evening Schedule

Boca Highland Beach Club, 4801 S Ocean Blvd, Highland Beach, FL 33487, USA Position Overview Provide a professional and competent image to ensure residents receive friendly and outgoing customer service. The primary function of the Gatehouse Attendant is to enforce and monitor access‑control procedures within the community, while offering best‑in‑class customer service. Responsibilities Stand and greet all visitors approaching the visitor lane in a friendly and professional manner and greet all residents returning via the resident lane. Provide informational assistance as required and possess knowledge of locations throughout the property to properly direct traffic. Record all traffic entering the property—both vehicular and pedestrian—using the access‑control system (KWIC). Observe, record, and communicate any actions, activities, incidents, or information of interest to the Management Office, Security, or Front Desk personnel. Complete all appropriate paperwork and ensure all reports are legible and in order. Maintain a clean gate house at all times. Verify that only authorized personnel have access to the community. Enforce parking rules: prohibit parking in front of the building or in fire lanes; allow only pick‑up or drop‑off traffic. Use proper telephone etiquette when speaking or answering the phone; greet callers with a professional opening and state your name and how you can assist. Report all building deficiencies to the Chief Engineer, Management Office, and Front Desk, such as water leaks, fire‑alarm violations, or equipment malfunctions, and submit incident reports or work orders immediately. Physical Demands The employee is required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time non‑exempt position. Days and hours of work will be determined by the property, and schedules may change to accommodate business needs. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Positive attitude and willingness to work with a diverse population. Prior experience as a Gatehouse employee. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail‑oriented and dependable. Position Supervision Employee reports directly to the Property Manager.
