Speech-Language Pathologist – Rehabilitation

Generally set schedule 5 days/week, likely to include 1 weekend day.

Contract Length: 26 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: Normal

Hawaii License required by start of assignment.

BLS certification.

Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably with Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Rehabilitation hospital experience.

Proficient in completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently, without supervision by a radiologist.

Acute care experience required.

Perform evaluations and assessments of patients' speech and swallowing functions.

Create and implement individualized treatment plans.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and recovery.

Educate patients and families on communication and swallowing disorders.

Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Dress code: Scrubs or per facility dress code.

Must arrive the Thursday before start date for an employee health appointment.
