Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and formulate individualized therapy plans that help them achieve their personal and functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply scientifically validated approaches to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work synergistically with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a well-rounded and holistic approach to patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their support systems about therapy techniques to continue progress outside of sessions
• Track and Document Achievements: Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary, keeping patients on track towards their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and nurtured

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
