SCP Health, a physician-founded and physician-led organization, is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join the Emergency Department at Carlinville Area Hospital, a community-focused acute care facility located in Carlinville, Illinois. This opportunity offers a moderate-volume Emergency Department, 12- or 24-hour physician shifts, and the ability to practice broad-scope emergency medicine supported by state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative hospital environment. Clinical & Program Details Patient Volume: 7,000 ED visits annually Specialties: Emergency Medicine Coverage Model: Physician coverage with 12- or 24-hour shifts Facility Type: 25-bed Acute Care Hospital Acuity: Low to moderate EMR: EPIC Procedures: Standard emergency medicine procedures Admissions/Transfers: Coordinated as appropriate Qualifications Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Licensure: Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain) Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Experience: Prior Emergency Department experience preferred Clinical Skills: Broad emergency medicine skill set appropriate for a community hospital setting Badges: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ability to obtain) Facility & Clinical Details About Carlinville Area Hospital Carlinville Area Hospital is a 25-bed acute care facility providing a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency medicine services.
