Claims -Workers’ Compensation Litigation Specialist II-IV

$80k - $100k

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies

Starting Salary The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. Responsibilities Supervise workers’ compensation claims for key accounts Supervise coverage/jurisdictional analysis and defense strategies Evaluate workers’ compensation exposure/reserves, including reserves greater than $100,000 Work in a team environment as part of Workers’ Compensation Claims Provide technical direction and support to Field Claims associates Prepare and present periodic reporting to key accounts Participate in development and delivery of training Involvement in special projects as needed Pursue continuing education to remain current and attain expertise relevant to job duties Required Skills Understands workers’ compensation jurisdictional differentiators, and key account differentiators Strong decision making skills Self-motivated, independent work ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate with all stakeholders Ability to effectively communicate the Cincinnati culture and advantages to others Demonstrates leadership qualities and business acumen Ability and willingness to adapt and change Continually strives to provide excellent service Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Qualifications Three or more years of workers’ compensation claim handling experience AIC, CPCU, SCLA or other relevant education Benefits and Amenities We offer a variety of benefits and amenities packages.
