Bilingual HR Generalist - Linden, NJ - $80k to $95k

The HR Generalist position is an exciting opportunity to be at the center of day-to-day operations, directly impacting both the workforce and overall production success. Our client offers a hands‑on environment where you can build broad HR expertise while partnering closely with leadership and employees to drive a safe, efficient, and engaged workplace. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and able to go on‑site five days a week. Prior HR manufacturing experience is required. Our client is looking for a Bilingual HR Generalist to support employees at their site in Linden, New Jersey. This role is ideal for a junior HR professional who can understand processes end‑to‑end within a fast‑paced, chemical manufacturing environment. The position is heavily focused on managing leave of absence (LOA) tracking and administration, while also supporting key HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding. Responsibilities include coordinating new hire orientation and safety training, participating in cross‑functional meetings, and handling light employee relations matters. This is a hands‑on, tactical role with a strong emphasis on day‑to‑day HR administration and operational support, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt in a plant setting. Description Manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screenings, and interview coordination. Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience. Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR‑related documentation. Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities for employees. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters. Support performance management processes and assist with employee relations matters. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to improve overall efficiency and employee engagement.
