SAFe Scrum Master
We are seeking a SAFe Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality technology solutions. This role is responsible for coaching teams, facilitating Agile practices, and ensuring efficient product development through transparency, inspection, and adaptation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hybrid methodologies, strong technical acumen, and the ability to bridge traditional waterfall approaches with Agile/SAFe frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile Leadership & Coaching: Guide teams in adopting Agile principles, fostering ownership, self-management, and empowerment.
- Scrum Facilitation: Lead Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Hybrid Methodology Expertise: Translate waterfall methodologies into Agile/SAFe practices, ensuring seamless integration.
- Technical Collaboration: Support Tech Leads and Product Owners with limited development backgrounds, providing technical insights.
- Impediment Resolution: Identify and remove obstacles to optimize team performance.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Assist other Scrum Masters and teams within the portfolio, contributing to Scrum of Scrums and Agile communities.
- Tool Optimization: Act as a power user of Azure DevOps or Jira, coaching teams on best practices.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate system integrators and external vendors, ensuring alignment with Agile principles.
- Delivery & Release Planning: Oversee team and portfolio-level planning, tracking capacity and velocity projections.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Conduct business impact analyses, ensuring adherence to regulatory and security standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 4+ years of related work experience.
- Certifications: Certified SAFe Scrum Master (ASM or RTE).
- Project Management: Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Agile Execution: Ability to effectively implement Agile methodologies in complex environments.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong relationship management skills with internal business customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification: 1+ years of experience working in or alongside traditional project management.
- Technical Expertise: Background in technical analysis or development.
- Azure DevOps (ADO) Proficiency: Hands-on experience optimizing Agile workflows.
- Agile Transformation Leadership: Experience guiding teams through transitions from traditional project management to Agile.
