TITLE
Occupational Therapist - Occupational Therapy

SCHEDULE
Shift: 5x8, 40hrs

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Weeks: 13
Guaranteed Hours: 40

REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience required
- Current Occupational Therapist License
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate and treat patients in alignment with licensure standards and physician orders.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop patient goals and plans for care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs.
- Monitor and document program effectiveness and patient outcomes.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) in compliance with care delivery standards.
- Participate in the development and documentation of discharge plans.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
Occupational therapist must provide appropriate documentation and ensure they follow state licensure requirements and organizational standards.
