Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of Oklahoma's busiest and most advanced maternity units. Whether you're an experienced L&D nurse or an acute care RN looking to transition into women's health, this is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career in maternal care. You'll provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care throughout labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians and the healthcare team during deliveries and obstetrical procedures.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Educate patients on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, neonatal staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support patient safety initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies and best practices.

Qualifications Required

• Active Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact Multi-State RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred

• Previous Labor & Delivery experience is strongly preferred.

Also Considered

Candidates with two or more years of acute care hospital nursing experience may be considered, even without prior Labor & Delivery experience. To be successful, candidates should demonstrate:

• A genuine passion for women's health and maternal care.
• A strong desire to build a long-term career in Labor & Delivery.
• Commitment to completing the approximately five-month specialty orientation required for nurses transitioning into L&D.

Schedule

• Night Shift
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts each week (36 hours)

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay from $33.15/hour
