What You'll Do
Lead & Develop Technicians

• Coach, mentor, and develop service technicians to meet performance, safety, and quality standards
• Conduct ride-alongs, field audits, and team huddles to reinforce operational expectations and best practices
• Support onboarding and hands-on training for new technicians to improve retention and readiness
• Create accountability through performance feedback, coaching conversations, and leadership presence

Drive Operational Excellence

• Monitor and improve KPIs, including:
  • Route efficiency
  • Customer satisfaction
  • First-time fix rate
  • Productivity and completion metrics
• Partner closely with dispatch and customer service teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with scheduling priorities, workflow management, and technician support in the field
• Help maintain consistency across routes, customer experience, and operational execution

• Recognize and develop top-performing technicians for future growth opportunities

What You Bring

• 3+ years of leadership experience in field service, operations, or related industries
• Strong understanding of pool service operations and technician workflows
• Proven ability to lead teams, build accountability, and drive performance
• Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable using mobile applications, routing software, and performance tracking tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report review

What to Expect on the Job

• Working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, sun, wind, and rain
• Driving a company vehicle between service locations and field audits
• Performing physical tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting during field visits
• Communicating directly with technicians, customers, and branch leadership
• Managing schedules, technician development plans, and operational priorities
• Using mobile apps and software platforms to track performance and operational activity

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is a field-based leadership role requiring regular exposure to outdoor working conditions including heat, humidity, dust, and seasonal weather changes.
Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, crouching, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Hand-eye coordination and mobility required throughout the workday
• Ability to safely navigate residential and commercial pool environments

Environmental Conditions

• General office environment with moderate computer usage as needed
• Outdoor service environment with exposure to varying weather and moderate noise levels

Environmental Conditions:


General Office Environment: Noise level in office environment is generally quiet.


Outdoor Service Environment: Position will be exposed to various work conditions, at a variety of client settings. Indoor conditions may have dust, heat, cold, noise, etc. Outdoor conditions may include exposure to the outdoor elements, seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.


Physical Requirements:


If performing office duties: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
